■Job Summary
The Snow Clearer ensures effective removal of snow and ice at NISADE owned or managed properties and staff accommodations, while ensuring high level of safety and care.

■Key Responsibilities
De-ice and remove snow from entrances, pathways, sheds, and other designated areas.
Maintain a safe job site, identify and monitor hazards and ensure a safe approach
Ensure landscaping and property are not damaged in efforts of removing snow or ice.
Maintain and care for equipment, tools and vehicles. Report any damage and/or poor condition.
Safely and appropriately distribute de-icing solutions if instructed.
Work as a team member and take direction.
Keeping maintenance team updated of observations made while performing duties of any damage, hazards or other points that need to be addressed.
Keep accurate timesheet records, and carefully document observations made
Drive to the snow clearing locations in a weather appropriate manner and parking in safe and legal areas.
Communicate with passing customers in a polite and courteous manner.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned.
